Modern Mobile Medicine is a direct primary care practice offering house calls, office visits, and telemedicine, serving patients across Arlington, Alexandria, and southwest DC.
The practice needed a mobile app that acted as the digital companion to its care model: everything a patient does on the phone with the practice, in one place. RST designed, built, and shipped it to the App Store.
The Challenge
A direct primary care practice runs on relationships and responsiveness. Patients book same-day visits, message their doctor directly, and expect their health information at their fingertips. The practice needed an app that matched that standard: appointments, records, and communication, all without friction.
The Build
We designed a warm, clinical app around the practice's orange brand identity, anchored by a doctor-first welcome experience that puts a familiar face on the care.
The app ships 12 core patient functions: appointment scheduling, visit summaries, secure messaging, digital forms, labs and documents, vitals tracking, medications and refills, supplements and a supplement store, pharmacy management, vaccine records, and billing. It is live on the App Store and the Google Play store with a 5.0 rating.
Ongoing Partnership
The app continues as an RST product: store listings are maintained, updates ship as the practice grows, and the patient experience is refined based on real usage.
